Helping Charity - Help for Education and Local Projects IN the Gambia, Donate and change a life

Before Chessay Ma Jaw Nursery was built by HELPING in 2009, the young pupils were taught under a tree when the weather was dry. Now, they have two brick built classrooms in the grounds of Chessay Ma Jaw School and numbers have risen to 80 pupils. All students receive a free uniform and school lunch every day. The nursery also has a storeroom and toilet block. HELPING also funds the two teachers by paying them a living allowance.
